The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented changes to the practice of labor and employment law. This program will cover important legal developments, while also providing practical advice for employers. The program will explore the current state of the law and examine important pieces of legislation affecting employment issues arising from the pandemic. Much of our focus will be on considerations for employers as employees return to work, including working with employees who are ill or exposed to COVID-19, health screenings for employees, cleaning and sanitation protocols, as well as a discussion of relevant guidance from the EEOC, CDC, and OSHA.
