REAL stands for Respect, Education, Accessibility and Lines (in the sand) to create an environment of mutual respect. This is best practices in the era of #MeToo. Educating the workforce as to the acceptable, ensuring that management is accessible and responsive to complaints of harassment, and creating strong and immutable boundaries/lines, can profoundly minimize harassment claims. The program will explore Federal and New York law on harassment of various types in the workplace. The panel will also discuss steps that can be taken to create an environment that avoids situations that lead to litigation, as well as providing a strong defense when litigation does occur.

The panel will also look at Judaic law and ethics for insights that our legal systems and society might benefit by incorporating.
